The main difference between small and big businesses

Small businesses are dependent on the owner. If the owner doesn't show up one day, the rest of the workers don’t know what to do next. Bigger businesses can continue their work without the owner present, because there are systems in place and people can work without additional guidance.

 

The biggest challenge is time

The biggest challenge for single agents is that they have only so much time until they can get the next commision. The industry is filled with people who sacrificed everything, from relationships to free time, to build wealth. It’s tough to succeed without having others to take tasks off your hands.

If you are not building a team today, you will be part of one tomorrow

The industry is changing as a whole, and teams are just better at attracting buyers and getting listings. The whole process is being taken to the next level due to technological changes, and the team model is what seems to thrive right now. While real estate will always be a people-based business, if you aren’t building a team today, chances are that you will be part of one tomorrow. Single agents won’t be able to handle the competition anymore.
