3 Things We Learned From This Episode

 

  • Find out what your people are best at (14:43-15:28) Make sure you know what your team members are best at and assign them more tasks that they love doing. The first step is to make everyone write down what they did in one week and verify the results of their work. This can also help you figure out if you need to hire more people.
  • Lead generation with client appreciation events (45:40-46:27) Every year, hold a few client appreciation events. Send them some small gifts or cards for their birthday to make them feel appreciated. Even if they cannot help you, they may know someone who wants to sell a home.
  • Contact past clients (45:00-45:40) On average, people stay in a home for 3-5 years. This offers a great opportunity for agents to get more sales. Put in place a system in which you send them texts, calls, or videos asking them how they’re doing and if they’re interested in selling their home.

It’s your responsibility to organize your team and make sure everyone is working towards the same goal. The biggest business hack is to create a system where everyone knows what they should do and when it should be done. From templates, to policies and to-do lists, your team shouldn’t waste time thinking about what they need to do next.
