• Don't spread yourself too thin. (10:53 - 11:08) People get burnt out when they take on too much and fail to realize they’ve spread themselves too thin. There are only 24 hours in a day. We can’t add something to our plate without subtracting something else.

 

• Maintain a holistic approach to your business (18:03 - 19:19) Our business consists of a lot of different variables that can contribute to our success, and we have to take a holistic approach to what we do. It can be easy to focus on only one area, but it tends to take your focus off other equally important pillars. Ask yourself what you might be missing if you focus too much attention on only one aspect of your business.

 

• Treat your own time as valuable (28:47 - 30:05) There are measures we can put in place to make sure we’re minimizing wasted time. Learn to be intentional with time management and set expectations with clients early on.

The belief that we need to be constantly busy can steal valuable time from our family and leave us burnt out. When we have a goal, it’s important not to get the kind of tunnel vision that makes us ignore other very important aspects of our lives. Ultimately, we don’t need to be busy all the time to still have a purpose and growth.
